Amióta Julia Roberts és Benjamin Bratt bejelentették

neve által fémjelzett Ocean’s Eleven című
gengszterfilm-remake forgatása idején kezdődtek.
Mindkét sztár fontos szerepet kapott a filmben,
de forgatási időn kívül is rengeteg figyelmet
szenteltek egymásnak, a kézenfogva történő
romantikus alkonyi andalgást is beleértve.
Ehhez már csak azt kellett hozzákombinálni,
hogy Roberts a filmbeli partnereibe szokott
beleszeretni, valamint hogy Clooney nemrég
szakított barátnőjével, Lisa Snowdon brit
modellel, és máris kész lett a szép kövér

Újabb hollywoodi álompár útjai váltak szét:
három és fél éves együtt járás után megszakadt
Julia Roberts és Benjamin Bratt kapcsolata.
A szakításról szóló hírt először egy New York-i
bulvárlap röpítette világgá, ám a hír igaznak
bizonyult, azt mindkét színész ügynöke megerősítette.

Marcie Engelmann, a 33 éves Oscar-díjas színésznő
ügynöke közölte, hogy a szakítás egy hónappal
ezelőtt történt, mégpedig Benjamin Bratt
kezdeményezésére.
(Egyes vélemények szerint a szakítás már
januárban történt, de az Oscar-díj kiosztása
előtt nem akarták nyilvánosságra hozni.)
Az érintettek egyike sem kommentálta a hírt.
Bratt egyik barátja azonban azt állította,
hogy a 37 éves színész évek óta hasztalan
próbálja rávenni a házasságra gyönyörű kedvesét,
és végül elege lett az egészből. Egy másik
barát viszont úgy véli, hogy Brattet az a
hatalmas nyomás kényszerítette a szakításra,
amely bárkit ért volna Hollywood legnagyobb
női sztárjának árnyékában.

1991-ben Kiefer Sutherland amerikai színész
menyasszonya volt, de röviddel a házasságkötés
előtt szakított vele. Két évvel később hozzáment
Lyle Lovetthez, a közismert countryénekeshez,
ám két évvel később el is váltak. A Brattel
való kapcsolata előtt állítólag gyengéd szálak
